Leather and Fabric Care

ANILINE-FINISHED LEATHER

Slight imperfections are inherent to the leather, and the colour and shine may dull with age or handling. Do not scratch or rub the bag on abrasive surfaces and if dust/dirt comes into contact with the bag, brush with a clean and dry soft cloth. Polish with a soft, clean, light-coloured dry cloth and do not use solvents to clean. Use a specialist cream to clean or entrust treatment to a professional leather cleaner. When using care products, always follow the instructions and test on an inconspicuous area first. If the bag gets wet, pat dry with a clean, light-coloured absorbent cloth. Wait overnight before storing and allow to dry naturally away from direct heat – do not dry near a heat source. Water will cause darkening of leather.

SEMI-ANILINE-FINISHED LEATHER

Slight imperfections are inherent to the leather. Gently buff your bag with a soft, clean, light-coloured dry cloth. If dust/dirt comes into contact with the bag, brush with a clean and dry soft cloth. Use a specialist cream to clean or entrust treatment to a professional leather cleaner. NUBUCK AND SUEDE

Careful wear is important. Avoid contact with water/liquids or areas of intense heat/humidity. Avoid wearing with contrasting colours to prevent colour transfer. Do not scratch or rub the products on abrasive surfaces. To maintain the original colour and to preserve the velvety texture, gently brush with a soft-bristled brush. For superficial stains, a rubber nubuck/suede eraser brush is recommended. Do not use a wire or hard-bristled brush. If the bag gets wet, pat dry with a clean, light absorbent cloth and wait overnight before storing it. Allow to dry naturally away from direct heat – do not dry near a heat source. If your bag comes into contact with water, let it dry before cleaning.

PATENT AND METALLIC LEATHER

Due to the characteristic of this leather, the shine may dull with age or handling. Do not scratch or rub the bag on abrasive surfaces. Gently buff with a soft, clean, light-coloured dry cloth and do not use solvents. If dust/dirt comes into contact with the bag, brush with a clean and dry soft cloth. Use a specialist cream to clean or entrust treatment to a professional leather cleaner. When using care products, always follow the instructions and test on an inconspicuous area first. FABRIC AND COATED FABRIC

Do not scratch or rub the product on abrasive surfaces. Any cleaning should be carried out with care using a dry cloth for fabric and soft, damp cloth for coated fabrics. Light markings may be removed by sponging with a neutral pH cleaning agent, in either water or a mild soap solution. Do not use solvents. When using care products, always follow the instructions and test on an inconspicuous area first. Clean the trims with a soft, dry cloth. If the bag gets wet, pat dry with a clean, light-coloured absorbent cloth. Wait overnight before storing it. Allow to dry naturally away from direct heat – do not dry near a heat source. Protect canvas fabrics from colour transfer, as contact with dark-dyed materials may cause discolouration.
